David Soren introduces Turbo a.k.a Theo, the garden snail.
Produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox The 3D computer-animated sports comedy film, revolves around the snail, who dreams big of becoming a great racer in the world, just like his hero Guy Gayne, the 5 times Indianapolis 500 champ.
Unlike other snails, Turbo is obsessed with speed and wants to get out of the slow life of the snail community. He becomes a constant embarrassment to his careful older brother, Chet Things take a turn, when in an accident, he gets sucked into a supercharger of a drag racer, fusing his DNA with nitrous oxide on a Street Race. He suddenly gets a lot of power of speed and accuracy. Not just that, to give the animation film a true touch of the genre, he gets the characteristics of a car, where his eyes turn in headlights and a shell that blinks red like taillights and makes car sounds and music from a radio.
This is when Tito, a "Dos Bros" taco truck driver spots Chet and Turbo and gets them for a race with other snails. Impressed by snail leader Whiplash, he is accompanied by the rest of his crew Smoove Move, Burn, Skidmark, and White Shadow. Turbo is on his way to fulfill his dream.
Written by David Soren, Robert Siegel and Darren Lemke, the film stars Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Michael Pena, Snoop Dogg and Maya Rudolph, amongst the others.
